The clock's just there to pass the time. It's like
a graphic novel or a walk in circles in the park.
A nervous stomach leads to alone time
not in the park but in the bathroom. My park,
my bathroom, my constant looking at the clock,
that minimalist masterpiece. The ordinary artist
desires something like the schizophrenia gene
to be something extraordinary; the schizotypal artist
just wants to get through the day in an ordinary way
without hearing voices or being confronted
by the demons walking step for step behind them
[sic]. Here's a proverb: No one is waiting on
these words. That's what makes them terrible,
O language master, that's what makes them mine. :-)
