This vase is a gift
from a father to his daughter
that she may always have a place
to keep her flowers in water;
she who tends to plants so well
and greets all creatures like the dawn,
the Fairy-winged Princess of 94 Grove,
the Mermaid Queen of the Overgrown Lawn.
