Bennett fonts

In 2000, I think it was, I made a couple of fonts in collaboration with experimental poet John M. Bennett. There's a text/novelty font (Bennetian Standard) as well as a dingbat font (Bennetian Dingbats) based on handwriting samples and drawings supplied by Bennett (though I added a couple of my own drawings to the dingbat font).

These are PostScript fonts that will work on a Mac, not sure about on a PC, and can now be downloaded from Mediafire at: http://www.mediafire.com/?j5ky1jzynqy.

Mediafire's great, but it sometimes puts out a pop-up ad or two, not too many, but if you're annoyed by even one pop-up ad, then make sure you have pop-up blocking enabled in your browser. (FWIW, I don't use pop-up blocking when visiting their site.)

The fonts are not quite finished as I had envisioned them, but they are usable. I had intended to finish them off, and to convert them to OpenType, but I haven't kept up too well with font software.

These fonts are provided free here for personal and/or non-profit use. If someone out there gets the mad idea to use this for a commercial project, contact me. Also, the fonts should not be recreated or modified in any form without permission.
